Nursery
Newborn babies to three-year-old
children may spend the service in our nursery. There are plenty of toys, books and fun things to do! We also
provide a healthy snack. A quiet area and pack-and-plays are available for
napping.
Junior kindergarten to
grade five program
Children in junior kindergarten to grade five hang out and learn in an
interactive group setting on Sunday mornings.
We use
an
exciting curriculum called
252 Basics. Each lesson encourages
children to follow the example of Jesus by making wise choices, trusting
God no matter what, and treating others the way we want to be treated (see
the
Basic Truths).
Each month, we cover a different virtue.
Large-group activities include games,
worship and drama. The different age groups also meet weekly in small groups
with adult leaders. God Time cards and fridge door notes are distributed to
families each week. These materials help parents to continue the lessons
at home.
Youth
groups Church Muskoka Style also runs youth groups for
grades four and up.
