When you
enter Church Muskoka Style by the Locks, chances are good that a friendly
greeter will welcome you at the door. He or she will offer you a church
bulletin and notes. Feel free to get a coffee and bring it with you into
the Service.
Our greeters can also direct you to our
children's programs.
Newborns to three year olds are cared for by
responsible, caring volunteers in the nursery. We also have quality Sunday morning programs for children in
junior kindergarten to grade eight.
The
service is held in the cozy sanctuary. A short,
introductory video occasionally starts things off around 9:55 a.m. The service
begins at 10 a.m. and runs for about an hour and a half.
We start with Prayer
and Worship. The words are projected on the
large screen. Feel free to simply listen, if you would
like. There is also often a special performance by one of our talented musicians.
Pastor Jeff Roy
delivers challenging sermons, which are enhanced by
a variety of media. Key Bible verses are usually shown on the screen and read aloud by
a church member. Prayer is also an essential part of our service.
On the first Sunday of every month,
Church Muskoka Style celebrates
communion
as a group.
